Visa

Austria is party to the Schengen Agreement, under which 15 European countries have joined together to create an area with free movement of persons, based on common entry rules. Delegation members and media representatives requiring a visa to enter Austria mus therefore hold a valid Schengen visa on arrival in Austria.

As specific deadlines have to be met in certain cases, we would ask you to contact the Austrian diplomatic mission competent for your place of resience in good time.
