ABC Newsletter Autumn 2003

Dear ABC Networker!

After the long summer holidays we have some news for you all:

  2. Website online
  3. Logo-competition

1) ABC Network will go on

Supported by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Science and Culture and also by the ÖKS Austrian Culture Service the project «ABC Network» goes into the next round. As a slight differentiation from now on the letters ABC are the abbreviation for «Across the Borders in the Center – Network creative Central Europe».

The focus of the topics remains on

  • Central Europe
  • creativity encouragement
  • common cultural heritage

2) Website online

During summer we went online with the address www.abc-network.org! This website is meant to further our cross-linking. Thanks for this impulse from Stadtschlaining!

Integrated in this homepage is a forum, which serves to publish (interim or provisional) presentations, to present and discuss various scientific / artistic positions, to publish contributions to your different projects. The Network lives upon various contributions and we look forward to your contributions!

3) Logo-competition

Our ABC Network still misses a logo!

We pick up the idea from the ABC-Meeting in Stadtschlaining and invite entries for a competition among pupils for this logo. We ask all teachers and pupils to participate and to make considerations for a logo-design. The announcement of the competition is done through means of the new ABC-Homepage.

We look forward to an intensive collaboration!
