Sehr geehrte Frau Amann, wir bedanken uns bei Ihnen und bei KulturKontakt Austria nochmals für die Einladung nach Krakau! Den Schülern hat es anscheinend sehr gefallen (noch mehr als uns Lehrern, denn wir vier waren am Freitag Nachmittag total erschöpft), sie scheinen uns heute irgendwie freundlicher zu begrüßen als noch vor zwei Wochen und als wir gestern und letzte Woche an unseren Projekt-Webseiten arbeiteten, gab es im Unterschied zu früher viel weniger Fragen "Wozu...? Was genau...?". Denn allen, die in Krakau waren, ist jetzt viel klarer als zuvor, worum es beim Projekt geht. Deshalb sind wir froh, dass durch Ihre Hilfe die große Anzahl von 35 SchülerInnen die europäische Dimension des Projekts hautnah erleben konnte, denn ohne solch persönliche Erlebnisse dürfte "europäische Dimension" für viele Jugendlichen zu einem weiteren abgedroschenen Schlagwort aus den Fernsehnachrichten verkommen.

Thanks to your organization due to which we were able to meet our partner schools. The project offered our students the chance to visit Austria and meet their friends from the different partner schools. This was also a great chance for them to communicate in foreign languages. Moreover teachers could meet and exchange their experiences and ideas and could meet new interesting people such as authorities from the Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. Another positive aspect of the ABC Network was the opportunity to get to know the Austrian culture and the different regions of Austria. Summarizing we are convinced that the ABC-workshops and -meetings for both teachers and students were motivating us for further work.
